    Internship is part of training that is conducted for a period of not less than 12 months after it has been proven by the Council that a person to undertake the practical training has fulfilled the requirements of being registered as such.

    Regulation 6 of the Pharmacy (Education and Training) Regulations GN. 333 of 2005 has provided areas of internship (placements). Internship can be conducted in hospital, community pharmacy, manufacturing/industries, or in any other premises or institution approved by the Council, under the supervision of a registered and approved pharmacist(s).
