The course covers the general field of parasitology and entomology within the context of public health.
- To produce qualified scientists in the field of Medical Entomology and Clinical Parasitology, with adequate scientific knowledge and skills to conduct independent or collaborative research in any biological field particularly in public health problems related to vector borne diseases.
- To prepare graduates in clinical or biological sciences for advanced teaching positions in the relevant subjects.
