About us

Established in 1944, the Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa is part of the Aga Khan Health Services (AKHS). The 82-bed facility is part of a network of health facilities in East Africa which include clinics, general hospitals and the Aga Khan University Hospital in Nairobi. The hospital strives to maintain leadership in the diagnosis and treatment of disease, working with the best clinicians to extend our care to the entire population of the Coast Province and its environs. It offers quality, cost-effective and value-added health care.

The Aga Khan Health service, Kenya, as part of the Aga Khan Development Network' health vision, will be an acknowledged premier health care provider in an integrated health system and will participate in education and research through affiliation with Aga Khan University.
