Mucolite Syrup

Contains Bromhexine 4mg/5ml. Mucolite is indicated as a mucolytic in the management of viscid mucoid secretions associated with bronchitis, bronchiectasis, sinusitis. As a mucolytic agent, Bromhexine HCl, dissolves thick mucus. Patients who have chronic respiratory ailments such as COPD or asthma can have an increased build up of mucus. When the mucus builds up, debris can no longer be removed causing difficulty in breathing, and thus Bromhexine functions to help relieve respiratory difficulties. It does so by dissolving various chemical bonds within secretions, which in turn can lower the viscosity by altering the mucin-containing components.
