This project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development and led by Jhpiego, supports Kenya’s Ministry of Health in increasing demand for and availability of high-quality, integrated HIV/reproductive health/family planning/maternal, newborn and child health/nutrition/orphan and vulnerable children services in 11 counties of Central and Eastern Kenya.

The project supports health care facilities, HIV care and treatment sites, prevention of mother-to-child transmission sites and HIV testing service sites.

APHIAplus Kamili successfully transitioned all implementation activities to the local nongovernmental organizations in the consortium and most of community health strategy, workplace and school health programs back to the county governments and the local communities.
