Expanding the role of nurses and midwives is essential to meet Kenya’s HIV treatment goals. ICAP is working with the MOH to update national nursing strategies, policies, and guidelines.
ICAP is also working with nurse education institutions to improve curricula, training, and support for a broader clinical scope of work for nurses. (funded by PEPFAR through HRSA)
