• MFK’s work in HIV/AIDS started in 2006 with HIV testing and counselling (HTC) services in the MFK Ukwala clinic. In 2008, our services expanded with funding from the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Through this 4-year funded project, we managed to reach over 61,000 people with HIV prevention information out of which 33% managed to receive the full package of BCC messages. Over 29,000 people were reached with HIV testing and counselling.
